Where people with all ability levels can reach their untapped potential!
Ability Specialists of The Woodlands was formed by three pediatric therapy professionals who saw a gap in resources available for individuals with disabilities as they transition from pediatric to adult services within the community.
Ability Specialists of The Woodlands is an organization serving individuals with disabilities such as Autism, Down Syndrome, Asperger’s, Prader-Willi, traumatic brain injuries, and more to improve and increase access to services within our community.
Dana Kizer, President, has first hand experience navigating the challenging journey of providing a family member with disabilities every resource possible as the legal guardian to her adult brother with Autism. This unique perspective guides our mission to serve individuals with disabilities across the lifespan to reach their full potential at every stage of life.
To achieve and maintain independence with activities of daily living, vocational skills, and educational achievement.
We partner with other agencies within the community to provide access to a variety of services for families and individuals with disabilities.
To create a community where people of all ability levels are included, welcomed, and celebrated!
