Dana Kizer is an occupational therapist with experience across the lifespan. As the legal guardian of her adult brother with autism, she knows first hand the challenges families and individuals with disabilities face when transitioning from pediatric to adult services. Dana has played an integral role in making sure her brother had and continues to have every resource possible to reach his full potential in all facets of life. Navigating the ins and outs of therapy services, insurance funding, legal resources, social programs, and specialty support services inspired her to become a resource for other families and individuals within the community.
Anais Villaluna is a pediatric speech-language pathologist and mother of three. In her professional life, she partners with families to utilize her expertise when assisting babies, children, adolescents, and young adults with feeding and swallowing disorders to achieve the safest and least restrictive diet possible while respecting the family and individuals' social and cultural priorities. Working with families as they transition from pediatric to adult services and witnessing first hand the stressors and frustrations that come along with this transition inspired her to become a resource for families and people with disabilities across the lifespan.
Lisa Colton is a pediatric occupational therapist with extensive experience working with medical and developmental disabilities. She is an active volunteer in many community programs, camps, and events for people with disabilities. As an occupational therapist, she brings a unique perspective to her administrative role at Ability Specialists of The Woodlands.
